The social web is all about platforms. If a community exists, a platform is the campfire that ties them all together. FFFOUND! is one such platform:

FFFFOUND! is a web service that not only allows the users to post and share their favorite images found on the web, but also dynamically recommends each user’s tastes and interests for an inspirational image-bookmarking experience!!

At the moment in private beta but worth a look. A similar platform is notcot.org which covers not only images but products as well and requires no registration.

The titles are naive in a high-school notebook drawn-kinda way as well as the title track by the Moldy Peaches. *sigh* I’ll have to keep reading about it in interviews and other places until its screening here in Hamburg.

For me, the discovery of a great story is like discovering taste-buds you never knew you had until they are coaxed out with a new dish. The process is also just as interesting so when I read about Juno my need to know more lead me to more and more back story. Looking for more…

One Laptop per Child
We ordered one of these. You can too!

UPDATE: Still waiting on the delivery of our OLPC as paypal fugged up the original order and I had to reorder it a couple weeks later. That being said, people are starting to receive them and the reviews are looking good. Read about it here, here and here.
