Over the last couple of years nerds, or more appropriately geeks, have become the new black. How did this come about? I would argue that it has to do with the ubiquitity of computers within our lives. Geeks are the ones that are able to speak machine language giving them the role of gatekeepers to getting anything done that has to do with computing.
